"Girlfriends" - A Ministers'

Wives and Widows Fellowship

Girlfriends Purpose

A support group for ministers' wives and widows - who FELLOWSHIP for the purpose of encouragement, prayer, support, mentoring and nurturing physical, mentally, emotionally and most of all spiritually.

Not just "a gripe session." But to listen to needs, cares, hurts, and concerns to support one another.

Share the positive issues about being a minister's wife as well as the difficult ones.

We Understand the Need for Confidentiality

Priorities of the Minister’s Wives

  1. The minister's wife is first and foremost a child of God.
  2. She is married to a minister, not to the ministry. Her greatest ministry is her husband.
  3. The minister's wife may be a mother.
  4. She is a church member.

Ephesians 2:10 (Amplified Bible)

10For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

FYI *** We meet once a month to pray together, laugh, cry, listen, share our joys and hurts and rejoice in the gifts God have given us in our husbands.

We mentor and nurture the physical, mental, emotional and most of the spiritual being. Just knowing someone is there if we need them help.***
